Buttery Whitefish with Pan-Fried Brussels Sprouts & Baked Potato

Ingredients:
- cod (or any white fish)
- potato
- Brussels sprouts
- oil or butter
Seasoning:
- 1 part salt
- 1 part black pepper
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Oven
- Stovetop
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F, poke a few holes in the potato, and bake for an hour until inside is soft
Step 2: Oil and season cod (or any white fish)
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 4: Cook cod for 2-4 minutes per side, until easily pierced with a fork. If you have enough oil or butter in your pan, use a spoon to baste the fish after you flip it
Step 5: Chop Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute Brussels sprouts for 8-12 minutes, until Brussels sprouts soften on the inside and develop a crunchy, golden-brown exterior. Stir occasionally, every 2-3 minutes or so
Step 8: Plate cod (or any white fish), baked potato, and Brussels sprouts together and serve!
