Cajun-Style Cod with Sauteed Cauliflower & Rice
One taste of the buttery fish will take you right to New Orleans. The cauliflower and rice ain't bad, either.

Ingredients:
- cod (or any white fish)
- rice
- cauliflower
- oil or butter
Seasoning:
- 2 parts paprika
- 2 parts garlic powder
- 1 part oregano
- 1 part cayenne pepper
- 1 part thyme
- 1 part salt
- 1 part black pepper
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Pot
- Stovetop
Step 1: Cook rice according to package instructions
Step 2: Oil and season cod (or any white fish)
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 4: Cook cod for 2-4 minutes per side, until easily pierced with a fork. If you have enough oil or butter in your pan, use a spoon to baste the fish after you flip it
Step 5: Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute cauliflower for 7-10 minutes, until cauliflower develops a nice golden-brown exterior
Step 8: Plate cod (or any white fish), rice, and cauliflower together and serve!
