Steak with Balsamic-Glazed Brussels Sprouts & Rice
Not often veggies can steal the thunder away from steak, but these Balsamic Brussels sprouts are that good. Add the balsamic in the final minute or so before the sprouts are fully cooked.

Ingredients:
- steak
- rice
- Brussels sprouts
- oil or butter
Seasoning:
- balsamic vinegar
- salt
- black pepper
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Pot
- Stovetop
Step 1: Cook rice according to package instructions
Step 2: Oil and season steak
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 4: Cook steak for 2-3 minutes per side, until it reaches your desired level of done-ness
Step 5: Chop Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute Brussels sprouts for 8-12 minutes, until Brussels sprouts soften on the inside and develop a crunchy, golden-brown exterior. Stir occasionally, every 2-3 minutes or so
Step 8: Plate steak, rice, and Brussels sprouts together and serve!
