The White-Plate Special: Chicken, Cauliflower & Rice
Normally a colorful plate is a sign of a healthy plate, but don't let the lack of color in this recipe scare you off. Easy to prepare, tasty to eat, you won't regret making this meal.

Ingredients:
- chicken
- rice
- cauliflower
- oil or butter
Seasoning:
- 1 part salt
- 1 part black pepper
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Pot
- Stovetop
Step 1: Cook rice according to package instructions
Step 2: Oil and season chicken
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 4: Cook chicken for 5 minutes, reduce heat to low, flip chicken, cover the pan, and cook for 10 more minutes
Step 5: Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute cauliflower for 7-10 minutes, until cauliflower develops a nice golden-brown exterior
Step 8: Plate chicken, rice, and cauliflower together and serve!
