Easy Dinner with Seared Ahi Tuna, Mushrooms & Baked Potato
Ahi tuna is delicious, but doesn’t always quite fill you up. Enter the almighty potato to put your hunger worries at ease. Sautéed mushrooms round out this quick and easy recipe that is sure to impress.

Ingredients:
- ahi tuna
- potato
- mushrooms
- oil or butter
Seasoning:
- 1 part salt
- 1 part black pepper
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Oven
- Stovetop
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F, poke a few holes in the potato, and bake for an hour until inside is soft
Step 2: Oil and season ahi tuna
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over high heat
Step 4: Sear ahi tuna for 1-2 minutes per side, until it develops a golden crust, but is still almost raw in the middle
Step 5: Slice mushrooms into thin strips
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute mushrooms for 7-10 minutes, until mushrooms become tender and turn dark brown. Stir mushrooms occasionally, every 2-3 minutes or so.
Step 8: Plate ahi tuna, baked potato, and mushrooms together and serve!
