Quinoa with Chicken, Egg, & Broccoli
This protein-packed meal will keep you going throughout the day without breaking the bank or taking up too much time to cook.

Ingredients:
- Quinoa
- Chicken
- Egg
- Broccoli
- Onion
- Oil or Butter
Seasoning:
- 1 part salt
- 1 part ginger
- 1 part garlic powder
- 1 part onion powder
Equipment Needed:
- Pan
- Pot
- Stovetop
Step 1: Boil water in a large pot
Step 2: Cook quinoa according to package instructions
Step 3: Dice the broccoli and onion into small pieces (see instructional videos below)
Step 4: Oil and season chicken
Step 5: Add oil or butter to a pan and heat over medium heat
Step 6: Sautee the chicken 5 minutes, then flip chicken and reduce heat to low. Cook covered for another 10 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink.
Step 7: Crack egg into a bowl and whisk until yolk and whites area combined
Step 8: Add oil or butter to either the same pan the chicken cooked in or a new pan and heat over medium heat
Step 7: Cook the eggs for 1-2 minutes, until eggs reach desired consistency. Set aside for later.
Step 9: Add oil or butter to a new pan and heat over medium heat
Step 10: Sautee the broccoli and onion for 5-10 minutes, until veggies develop some color and start to soften up.
Step 11: Combine the quinoa, chicken, and eggs with the veggies, mix well, and oil and season to taste.
